Boxing spur is an important part of the sport.  I wanted to create artificial spurs which could knock down as boxing gloves do.  If we compare with taped spurs as it is practised in some asiatic countries, boxing spurs also have the advantage to give equal chances to both birds.  And they  mostly cancel eye injuries as they are wider than natural spurs.    To realize them, I chose ABS plastic(Acrylonitrile butadiene styrene) for his toughness and durability.  They are told to last for years. They are made by industrial injection molding.  They are suited for ****s from 3 to 4 kgs.  Each spur weighs 1 gramm.

Directions for use. First, shorten the spur if necessary. It can be monthly done with sand paper as soon as the natural spur is more than 10 mm long.  If the spur is very long,it can be done with a grinder. It does not bleed. Second, one layer of double sided tape on the dry and dustfree leg. Third, the boxing spur. Fourth, 3 layers of woven medical tape.  Be carefull not to tight.
This year, in the cokboxing competition in Mouchin, we used Tesa double sided tape for carpet and Hansaplast sport tape.
